Do I need previous experience to go snorkeling?
No, not at all. Our tours are perfect for beginners. Before you get in the water, we’ll give you a thorough briefing on how to use the equipment and the basic techniques. Our guides will be right by your side the whole time.
What kind of marine life can I see in Abades Bay?
Abades Bay is an extraordinary marine ecosystem. It’s common to see schools of colorful fish (white seabream, wrasse, and bogas), octopuses, cuttlefish, starfish, and volcanic seabeds. With a bit of luck, you might also spot sea turtles and stingrays that frequent these waters.
Can children go snorkeling?
Yes, it’s a fantastic activity for the whole family. We recommend a minimum age of 8, provided the children are comfortable in the water. Our guides pay special attention to the younger children.
What should I bring on the trip?
All you need is your swimsuit, a towel, and biodegradable sunscreen (to protect the marine ecosystem). All necessary equipment is included in the tour price.
What happens if the weather or sea conditions aren't favorable?
